I’m not sure it would’ve been out last week, MOT expired in January.
Also withdrawn is Temsa 4718 (YJ10DFU) and E200 2156 (GN10KWJ). The E300 is seemingly on its last few days too.
Yes one of the shorties, it’s tracking on the 765 this morning.
Must have been the other Max Citaro then, either way, it was battered.
The Temsa didn't last long at all!

I know it's nice to have some improvements after the years of constant cutbacks.
Unless its an enormous error, the 87 changes seem the most bizzare, it has been worded as though it will serve the current route to Glenhills Way then go down to Fosse Park then back up to Eyres Monsell before continuing to South Wigston and Countesthorpe.

Thats Derby's job. From april the wyvern is withdrawn and replaced by the 1B. The 2A, 4 and 38 will also go via Bradshaw way insted of via the spot into town.

Rerouting the 1B that way makes more sense, shame it isn't hourly to offer a connection to the Wyvern frequently.
2As, 4s & 38s avoiding the spot does make sense, its chaotic & can be an awkward one with bikes (mainly the uber/justeat ones) electric scooters, other buses, Ubers & many others to add to the list, the 2 nearest stops are close enough that people wont have to walk far.
With some hope these changes also include some duty changes, interworking of the 4/26 & 20/X38 has made all the services quite unreliable, delays are occurring on majority of trips & it hasn't gone unnoticed (Oakwood Councillors had a meeting with arriva to address the concerns).

Worth noting that the services on 2a, 4 and 38 will serve the spot on outbound journeys, it's just inbound that they will not cover that part of the route. It does make sense, as it gets very busy around there and causes delays. Also inbound there is a stop on Bradshaw way next to the shopping centre entrance, so it shouldn't cause inconvenience to that many people.
Funding for the Spondon section of the 20 is due to end on 19th April or there abouts, unless it is extended.
Not sure diverting the 1b makes that much sense really. It will be a direct service from Boulton Moore except when I takes a detour to the wyvern at peak times. A peak time service to Spondon via Wyvern would make more sense as it is on the way.

I’m not quite sure they’ve thought this one through. Removing all of the midlife deckers from Thurmaston simply means that a combination of life expired and far too small vehicles are acting as spares on routes they have spent millions upgrading significantly reducing the impact of the upgrades on passenger perception.

Moving the mid-life deckers over to Derby has helped bring their average vehicle age down a fair bit and improved reliability.
As for Thurmaston the remaining diesel buses should now be stop-gaps and hopefully be gone within a few months as the 56 electric single deckers are due.

It certainly helped Derby offload those ex Arriva Yorkshire Enviro 400s. Once there were 5.

Looking at the 44's timings they seem very tight and a half-hourly service around Little Hill estate won't be enough.

Personally think Evora's would be worth waiting for, especially for x38. Things change. There is a lot of uncertainty due to franchising, and reluctance to invest in vehicles without funding towards it.
Think all 4 of the YX17 e400 deckers are now in use at Derby (4547/8/9/51). What happened to 4550, I assume there was one?

I think the former Arriva Midlands 4550 moved to Arriva Kent and Surrey.
