Do you mean one unit can provide power to aux on when the batteries on another unit are dead?
If there's 750V between units (or 25kV if the pan is up on a 313) I imagine it would arc and make a bit of a mess every time you couple up.
A 313 is really a 750V DC unit. When under 25kV the transformer output is 750V.
When running on 750V, each power car operates independently, not even providing power to the other power car in the same unit, let alone providing power to another coupled unit. This was due to tunnel regulations for Moorgate (LUL units have similar operation).
It could be that when running under 25kV the 750V transformer output can be shared between units.
As for arcing when you couple up, there is a simple device that would prevent this, known in the industry as an "on/off switch".
