Apparently 67014 hit something on the track that damaged the speedometer and also something else under the loco so it was on reduced power to Wembley and will need fixing. Last night SKIP10, is that Saturday night as 018 was not at Wrexham this morning, it was 013 & 012 on 1P01 & 1P03.

67018 hit a bird on Thursday, outside wolves the driver was either eating it or peeing on it 
there was a chap with his head out the window and said pidgeon almost hit him........ Pity really

67018 is now spare on the spare set at WLMD, 67012, 013 & 014 are out today

This is a mistake and will not make a passenger stop at Coventry.

Sounds like it wasnt supressed in the WTT, it would only be a pathing stop anyway.

I think 018 has been adopted by WSMR now, still cant moan with some hope it'll work 1J82 and 1P33 so I can bag another 200mi off it, then just 400mi more and its cleared

67018 is back with Wrexham and Shropshire again (if it ever left): Working the 05:10 Wrexham to Marylebone this morning, passed through New Street at 7am with 82303 leading.
It came in for 67013 on sunday as the poor thing was only running on 3 legs.

If anybody's interested (I am, it gives me something to watch whilst on my way to work), 67018 was working what was presumably a slightly delayed 05:10 Wrexham to Marylebone this morning. Passed through New Street at half 7 leading the Cargo-D blue and grey carriage rake and 82304 on the rear.
Unless it was some sort of ECS working?

That is the spare set, the last batch of new coaches will be in service very shorly so there fore it was a late running 1P01

Cheers for clarifying the working.
I wondered how long the spare set would be in use and whether there was a further rake of refurbed mark 3s forthcoming. It seems a long time since the other W&S silver carriage rakes entered service. Was travelling on the Cargo-D spare rake yesterday evening, albeit in first class which is the only refurbed vehicle in the rake. I returned later on in standard class on a refurbed rake. The quality of the Wrexham and Shropshire interior refurb never fails to impress me every time I travel with them.
