Just seen this on Traksy heading through Atherstone. Any idea what this is? Heritage empty stock?

Most likely it's mileage accumulation/fault-finding or -free running for new stock, I'd guess the new LNR units. Could be a test train. Empty Heritage stock would usually run as 5Zxx.

Yes, although you could also run a normal headcode with a RT3973 restriction form, or have no restrictions but running under a Q headcode to mark it as on a timing run/specific stopping pattern or whatnot. Headcode discipline's been slowly degrading for ages, with 9s, Zs and Xs appearing for convenience as much as need.

It's timed as a 350 because they won't have the SRTs in for now, partly because some of these runs will be used to verify the new SRTs! It's possible it could be a 350 but I think a 720 is much more likely.

I have seen the 7206 c2c units on this run.
With the same headcodes previously as well.
But only when in passing at Rugby to catch something else.

On RTT "Pathed as" does not mean the booked traction, its the timing load.

According to the Train Service Code, It's operated by Rail Operations Group
