Just seen this on Traksy heading through Atherstone. Any idea what this is? Heritage empty stock?
Yes, although you could also run a normal headcode with a RT3973 restriction form, or have no restrictions but running under a Q headcode to mark it as on a timing run/specific stopping pattern or whatnot. Headcode discipline's been slowly degrading for ages, with 9s, Zs and Xs appearing for convenience as much as need.'Q' also means must not be routed off booked route, so if new stock, will have limited routing options
It's timed as a 350 because they won't have the SRTs in for now, partly because some of these runs will be used to verify the new SRTs! It's possible it could be a 350 but I think a 720 is much more likely.Realtimetrains has 5Q92 Crewe-Nuneaton and return as 5Q93. Booked as a class 350, so likely not a new unit unless just a placeholeder type for pathing.
Possibly test or training run.
