73109 confirmed being prepped @ Wimbledon for 2105 departure to Poole from Waterloo.

News as it is at the moment.

7 pigs to Southern.
6 pigs to be kept on by SWT apparently.
2416 could be the first one going to the Pig Sty in the Sky followed by 2415.
Freightliner are driving the rest of the 442's from Bournemouth to Eastleigh from Monday.

Apparently the 73 ran light engine to Clapham then down the Portsmouth direct to Fratton.

Disapointed a bit but waited an extra hour and a quarter and got 66151 on a short Long Welded Rail train coming into Poole to run round and perform a rail drop on Parkstone Bank.... My Lordz... it was bloody cold by then around 0.2 degrees C.

Might I add a very big thanks to all those that not only have provided me with gen but also several other peeps with gen and info regarding to the current situation of the pigs as well. A big thanks to them..... The 442 ride aint over just yet, hang on in there!!!

For those of you (like me) that are going cold Turkey ( ohh hold on Turkey...can I say that here???? ) any hoo any one going cold turkey over no pigs, Hopefully tonight (Tuesday) I can update my website with pics upto week ending 27th January, due to work comittments and running round photing piggies I havent been able to get the pics from last weekend up as yet. Those will possibly go up this week at some point.

I am having a problem with my webbie host at the moment so I cannot upload the update.... dagnabbit. So I was not going to say it but to make up for the lack of an update, not through my own fault I hasten to add, I am currently uploading my railway vids to U Tube. My final post in this thread. Just to say that finally after thinking it might not happen the 5-WES ministie on Hentis Rail is Live. Currently there are only 2 of the 5 sections open but it does contain the first and last passenger working of the 442's. Also their has been a general update on the site. Check out the site news on the second page of the site.

Incidently there are now just 3 442's stabled at Bournemouth. 2416, 2418 & 2423. No moves are planned for this week either.
