2414 came back in unbranded white & Grey livery this morning.
there is talk that 2424 will go away on Monday.

Might be a few out - it's essentially the same timetable as today.

Would be ironic if the following service was operated by the piggies....

0730 Waterloo - Fratton, and return 0920 Fratton - Waterloo....
1135 Waterloo - Weymouth and return 1500 Weymouth - London....
1835 London - Weymouth and return 2310 Weymouth - Bournemouth....

We did that last week? Oh well.

Not sure about Saturday , I hope so as I want to get a couple of shots of the snug area and possibly cab!!!

Pig 2414 came to Poole on Friday morning being towed by 47811 around 01:00 am where it left it in Poole Yard (carriage sidings I presume) and went back to Soton Maritime. 73201 then ran light to Poole and recovered the unit and took it to Bomo Depot as 5Z43!!!!

Pigs are still required for next week. I might shoot onto Eastleigh over the weekend and see what I can get. as I need some of the 158's as well.

Sunday there is engineering works between Soton Airport and Brockenhurst and Woolston, so it could be that the pigs could run Brockenhurst - Weymouth shuttles.

@Fab444 Line is closed all day Sunday between Bournemouth & Eastleigh. I know they are replacing rails at beaulie Road. We are hoping to have a couple of more pigs out on Sunday.

2424 is expected to be the next candidate to go away on Monday.

Its also expected that 10 pigs will be allocated to Selhurst and 1 set be utilised as a backup for Gatwick Express whilst the others could be used by Southern.

I would expect the 442's to be kept ontill at least the last 450 is commisioned and in service. (possibly) Week commencing Feb 5th will be all 450/444 operation.

450127 is expected to make its first run on Monday 22nd January.

Its in the system as to run but I have not seen any other times.

Dont forget although the pigs are going off lease they still need to go off for refurbishment and will from now all appear in white and grey livery. These still need to be hadned back in working order to arriva trains, Thats why some of the ones with the broken windscreens wont be going anywhere for the time being.

Could be; I don't think 450125 followed the timetable Hentis outlined for 450127, although I dunno for sure.

442s are on lease to SWT until the end of the current franchise only which, in theory, rules out w/c 5 Feb onwards. It is very unlikely (although not altogether impossible) that any units will be used beyond that date as the increased payments to the DfT kick in from the start of the new franchise so unnecessary costs will need to be eliminated.

Mind you, the 458 fleet is still not fully comissioned so that's another issue...
