It has finished up in Lovers today, coming off of 5F31 Seaford-Lovers Walk. No idea where it'll be tomorrow (well, today) unfortunately.

Has it been down the West in its new livery yet?

Also looking at those, it also shows that the modern repaint is correct not to have the double arrows.

But that livery is not as built , each works did their own interpretation of the livery diagrams

That's a great photo. To me, 313201's white stripe corners look correct in that they are less curved than the window profile.

It is a slight shame the double arrow was omitted but you can't have everything.

Maybe it will visit the West next week? Although, there is a Brighton match tomorrow so I wouldn't be surprised to see it on additional Lewes shuttles (if it's not already out and about).

Ultimately it is still in permanent use by ‘National Rail’.

It will possibly be added once it goes into the museum, as I would assume NRM are allowed to use it

Don't know, just know it had a coach locked out and is now OOU.

Pretty old that door gear , I have only worked on 507/508 door gear when they came in for corrosion repair rework

Could it be that corrosion may have accelerated due to their seaside duties (salt water...)

Another repairer did a bodge job of some pretty standard repair work and we got to put it right , they have held up quite well to say there an aluminium skin in steel framework
