Hi
Please can anyone confirm whether 313201, has been repainted into BR blue livery (with compliant door colours)?
I'm hearing rumour from people that it has been repainted, and is last of 313 southern Wolverton work too

Any official confirmation please thanks.
So many people spread rumours but never bother to give a source or credit.

The last photo of it on Flickr is in Southern livery, but that is dated 30/10/2017.

Class387 it went to Wolverton works last month, I believe it is last of the 19 unit refurb.
Not sure why it is or apparently has been repainted.

Repainted to commemorate 20 years of company service. Will remain later if anyone had any confirmation of this

I doubt it, probably just a rumour.
BR blue isn't DDA compliant anyway.

On Facebook haha :D Someone who works at Wolverton said the details like the OP and said he couldn’t get any images because they’re quite strict.

I remember the 313 coming to york works for their first C1 overhaul , the first ones were still been delivered back down south in blue/ grey livery even though Class 319 new units were been delivered in the original NSE livery with the dark grey lower panel , it was a while before we did the 313 in NSE colours

To me that's not confirmation. We'll get confirmation once it starts on its journey back down south.

Not 20 years of SN or even 20 years since the privatisation of the SC franchise.

Connex South Central ran it from 1996 - 2001

Govia picked it up in 2001. So it's been 16 years with them, and 7 years of 313s on the Coastway.

Awww. You got my feelings up. Would've been great to see a EMU repainted back into its original BR grey livery. :(

It is amazing how things come around full circle. I remember the late 1980s when the sector liveries were getting rolled out how people liked the colour. Now they want blue / grey back. Must admit I liked IC on the HST but blue / gray worked well. Not sure what my favourite livery ever was on the 313s. (Definitely not the WAGN undercoat).

I remember the changes been rolled out , last 317/455 left york in blue grey then 150-1 in provincial followed by 318 in orange , 150-2 in sprinter livery followed by 319 in early NSE
The repair shop was even more colourful , C4 on 6 rd mainly blue grey , but do remember a Gatwick express 2f in the shop , 5 rd had mk2f s in executive livery , C3 Gang was doing a variety of Mk1 & Mk2 vehicles getting either blue/grey , provincial, trans Pennine and NSE livery , a rake of Mk1 in executive livery for midland mainline and the Mk2z vehicles in NSE for east anglia

I know this is off topic, but any idea why 150/0 rolled out in “sprinter” the 150/1s the did provincial (matching the pacers sort of) then 150/2 back to sprinter. Never liked the 150/1 livery as much but it wasn’t bad for showing up dirt so wonder why that batch never had sprinter as built?

Now this I can't wait to see. Looking forward to seeing how authentic it looks, grey doors aside.

As an aside - I realise this is an external timewarp, only - what was the seat colour on the 313s, as delivered?

On the 315s and 508s I recall some brown-green-orange shades, quite evocative of the 1970s. Were the 313s similarly trimmed?

I don’t but I can ask around , all I remember is we retrimmed them in the blue and red version of “blue blaze” moquette
