I was wondering if there was any way of filtering the background Apple map on an iPhone? A filter option showing only the railway lines and place names would provide a better focus. Another would be a highlight of the railway lines to make them stand out more? Thanks for any advice.

Both 50s led back from Joppa to Waverley so were at the wrong end of the train. Cue lots of shunting shenanigans, a 50 and 57 on the front and the other 50 on the rear!

Well I was there and enjoyed the occasion. As I took photographs, a few people asked me why an Avanti train was there and took a genuine interest in the event. So I reckon it created goodwill. Didn’t hear anyone complaining that the effort spent on this delayed their train!!!
