Just checked on my iPhone and it all seems to be up to date and working.

Looks like the weekend timetable update failed and the app is currently semi-functional - sorry about that - I’m away from the office for a few days and won’t be able to find and fix the problem until Thursday at the earliest.

Typical, it’s worked automatically for over a year now and the minute I go off in the van to explore darkest Devon it goes bang Guess that’ll teach me to take the laptop next time

I’m still a regular user of it.

The one development I would ask you to consider, is that you can like or follow certain units so that they show at the top of the allocations option rather than having to scroll down and filter to find them every time. I only need thirty odd units for haulage so to have them readily available as;

I’ve installed TrainMapper only a few days ago and have to say I love it, especially the unit allocations for the full day. I’ve given it a five star rating on the App Store.

I haven't tried it, but seeing it mentioned, reminded me of the post I saw a few days ago about Railpilot

I'll TrainMapeer a go too.

I assume you are the developer .. without seeing it, I am sure this has taken you a lot of effort, so well done.

Just a quick heads-up to let you know TrainMapper should be back to normal in a few hours - I've fixed the timetable issue but had to take the feed readers offline for a couple of hours, meaning that a bunch of activation and allocation messages have been missed. As we're towards the end of the daily cycle of activations and allocations you might see incomplete information in the app for the rest of the day, but it'll sync up overnight and should be fine tomorrow. If you see anything else unusual feel free to let me know!

I was wondering if there was any way of filtering the background Apple map on an iPhone?

A filter option showing only the railway lines and place names would provide a better focus. Another would be a highlight of the railway lines to make them stand out more?

It’s in the backlog as an upcoming option yes, but currently not working very well in my dev version. I’m hoping to move away from native Apple Maps entirely, as I’ve since found a better alternative, but at the time I was developing the initial version Apple Maps was the path of least resistance

I might get it in before the end of the year, depends on how much longer the new ”high res” feed work will take.
