Hello, Well its now been 6 months since i didnt pass my Interviews for FCC Trainee Train driver. Apparently i can re-apply to retake them now,but trying to find any Vacancies for trainee train driver is daunting enough.......do they have a certain time of the year when they advertise...

Hello, I'm sure someone has asked this question before,but i cant find it on here ! When you re-apply for your 2nd chance (after 6 months )do you have to wait for a TOC to advertise that they are looking for Trainee Drivers,or can you just get in touch with them and explain the 6 months...

Thats what i was hoping to hear,that you only have to resit what you failed on..............the Interviews for me ! Well fingers crossed 2nd time around will work for me like the others you mentioned! Thanks again for that information too.

Hello again.........well back in June i started doing my exams etc for Trainee Train driver for F.C.C , passed everything all the way to the Interviews,which was where it ended ! I will apply again when the 6 months is up (December )Has anyone on here gone back for their 2nd time and still not...

Whenever you ring them,there is never anyone there to answer,just a recorded message ! I will keep trying though,would be nice to know more about the reason.

Firstly,as i passed all the exams and the managers interview,in 6 months time when i re apply,do i only have to sit the Structured Interview again,also do i have to wait for FCC to post a vacant position for train driver job too in 6 months or just re apply even if they are not advertising a...

Well 6 months from the date they put,would be October.....thats 6 months after April! They cant argue the case can they! lol

Charlie,just checked my date too,it also says 28th April! Maybe we should tell them they would not of passed the Exam either!

they sent me a letter,so if u havent got a letter then maybe u have got through. I am gutted,but nothing i can do.

Funny you should ask that,i just said to my wife,they haven't given me a reason why etc. Would be nice to know for future reference.

I failed the Interview stage,got told today.Gutted,but i can apply again in 6 months. Good luck to the rest of you though.

No,its not actually in Brighton,its on the Brighton Line,1 stop south of Gatwick. Also i think there was a bloke who works for Southern at Brighton Station on the platform, there this morning. I wonder how many will get through out of all 10 of us?!

I think that was the same person i had,Jo i think her name was,had a yellow top on. It was an unusal kind of interview thats for sure.So do you actually live in Mansfield,and you came all the way to London for your Interviews? I spoke to someone who was on the morning interviews,cant remember...

I was in pm today.There was only 5 of us in this afternoon,not sure how many went in this morning though..........makes you wonder how many they will accept.
