Don't a load of operators do timetable changes at the start of september just before schools/colleges go back?
It'll just be the usual tweaks here & there. Still do think even if it only ran a few trips a day that a sunday #82 could work. If its there & people know so they'll use it.
Needs new wheelsets not them getting turned apparently it's been said elsewhere by a guy that worked on it at the mid norfolk.
Tyres are incredibly thin so imagine they'll be shelling out for a new set.
Still wears that experimental blue, a fab paintjob. Done rather well too considering it was hand painted by it's owner & some mates with rollers.

Couple of liveries I wouldn't mind seeing in preservation are:
50015 In Dutch - It wore this in its BR career & I thought looked mint...
I've got a list to get round:
Heritage Railways
Pontypool & Blaenavon - Haven't been to south wales properly yet & wouldn't mind exploring a bit round the ex coalfields areas.
Bristol Harbour Railway - Never travelled on a docks branch yet which I reckon is quite the experience, combined...
2 I've spotted in the last month.
A Rover 100 - Seen in the carpark at statfold barn railway near tamworth.
1913 Ford Model T - Displayed outside the macclesfield model railway exhibition couple of weeks ago.
Round here in macclesfield (cheshire east) we have a number of GATSO cameras which catch drivers running red lights. Loads of people caught in the past year.
What really annoys me is the yummy mummys cruising about in their massive SUVs. They're texting as well as you can spot them glancing...
Anybody know when the trams are likely to get an interior refresh? It was supposedly said from what I'd heard that they'd get freshened up as internally they are very scruffy.
Also there's been mutterings now for ages about wanting to expand the network since it came back under local authority...
In railways illustrated it was suggested that 37025 could potentially be losing the large logo colours when it returns.
Dutch was mooted & the nameplates are supposedly getting sold too in order to raise some extra wonga.
A driver mate of mine based at macc who's from wilmslow is saying that the local bus user groups round her have kicked up holy hell about the #312 going.
An idea he had which could possibly work out is bin the #150 as it's running about empty a lot of the time. So reinstate the #312 but extend...
Come may E200 no 41 is being withdrawn probably due to now being 17yrs old & generally being quite tired.
The ex edwards MMC 5022 I've heard will be taking over the #19 duties. So that'll leave 38 as last man standing outta the ex first 09 reg batch of enviros as all the others are already...
Really a HST needs somewhere for a good leg stretch.
The GCR at loughborough would be the obvious choice, it's ex mainline, double tracked etc.
However moving a pair of 43s plus a rake of MK3s would cost a small fortune.
So I guess the question is can 43s work with MK1s?????? I realise...
When the safety valve on a steam loco lifts & it blows off that is a particularly loud noise.
Very high pitched & I have on occasion had a small amount of ringing in my ears afterwards.
The loudest thing I've heard modern traction wise is a 91 & 92s with their fans going full tilt don't half...
