That'll mean no weekly parliamentary service from stockport - stalybridge through reddish south & denton.

Some spare lengths of rail lying in the four foot at macclesfield. Presumably these are for somewhere on the section to kidsgrove?
A good few years back DG did used to run larger single deckers. They had scania omnicities & MCV evolutions.
However now long since withdrawn but they managed the busier routes no problems whatsoever.
Wouldn't know fully but you've got I suppose the following arguments regards running xmas day:
(1)Surely everyone that works in the bus industry as a driver deserves a break over the festive period? With that in mind however there's always people who choose to work xmas day for whatever...
If memory serves me correctly around manchester it is usually just the #43 that runs. It's the piccadilly gardens - manchester airport route.
There are I believe inbound flights xmas day into manchester but I think nothing outbound.
Solo SR 48193 has appeared on the 84 shorts this week as has a park & ride big MMC.
Which is unusual as I've not very often seen them stray off their P&R duties.
Apparently according to a geezer I know at DG longton MMCs 5001/5002 will be moving to macclesfield soon to complement the ex cardiff examples.
Hoping soon as well that the ex first E200s can be canned as their totally wrecked.
Not surprising that charles paget sold his riviera stock, at least quite a few of their MK1s got sold into preservation.
Some interesting vehicles there that'll be around for years yet.
My bad I hadn't meant to link the #48 withdrawal to macc evening services. Just that we could do with them back again.
A driver mate of mine tells me that apparently everybody got BSIP+ funding so maybe cheshire east could do something with that.
There is a rumour floating about is that the #48 Northwich - Frodsham is earmarked for the chop. Word is it just ain't carrying hardly anybody.
Only trips that seem reasonably busy are the school runs. What we could really do with is evening buses again.
Quite a few folk from Macclesfield used...
Excellent news, I took pudsey my beagle collie X for a ride on the west mids trams last year when the trial took place.
As you can see he sat on the floor by me quiet as anything, didn't upset or annoy a single person.
If there are any metro drivers on here if you ever see us around...
Another of the ex cardiff MMCs 572 is back in service again. According to a member of depot staff at crewe I know 570/571/572 are all to be operated by macc.
Although 572 has already been nicked by wincham but no doubt it'll find it's way back again.
With regards a fairly modern ish station for filming ask TFL about charing cross.
There's a whole other section of the tube station down there that they use for testing out new bits for stations etc.
Manchester Piccadilly - The barriers there seem fine with railcard discounted tickets as I've got a disabled one.
However, they don't seem to like through ticketing, tickets with barcodes you have to hold them actually on the glass rather than a bit above otherwise the scanners can't read them.
Around my local area, (macclesfield in cheshire, but also north west & manchester) I've seen:
UA - Ukraine
GR - Greece
Also get a ton of trucks over here fairly regularly from holland delivering fresh flowers to the various florists. As usual get a ton of trucks from abroad, mainly from...
It is positive news aye, the only other vehicles that have owt similar are the DF streetlites.
They have the displays showing the destination & route number.
Attached is a photo, apologies for quality not being brilliant but it's took off my phone. Shows the display at the front.
Trying to get things a bit not so debatable, (makes for heavy reading haha)
The MMCs for the 38s I've heard are being fitted with next stop announcements. Noticed today on 576 that it's been fitted with a display down the front & also when they were delivered they had speakers fitted.
Small...
At least finally we are getting newer buses, the ex cardiff MMCs after some teething troubles have settled in nicely & are a hit with passengers.
They do however need to employ more cleaning staff as if you look at interiors on some of their motors they haven't been deep cleaned for months...
