What is one heritage railway or railway attraction you want to visit and have not yet?

The Watercress Line was apparently the first heritage line I ever visited; there's an image of me in the family photo album in my dad's arms next to a locomotive (photo is zoomed in like hell and blurry, so I couldn't tell you which if I tried), and it's dated from when I was about 3. Unfortunately, it's also why I don't remember that trip at all! The first heritage line I visited at an age where I could actually appreciate it was the Swanage.

I recently did the Cholsey & Wallingford Railway (recently being yesterday in this case) and it was a really nice little line. Very short, maybe 3 miles, but certainly unusual in having a crossing of the A4130 just after leaving Wallingford.

Definitely recommend the line to anyone interested in going, it was only £5 for a day pass yesterday and I’d have spent more time on the railway, if it weren’t for needing to ride back up towards Radley. Which turned into a ride up to Oxford instead but that’s a whole other story!

Second heritage railway completed for track in a week, no idea which one is next but I’d not be surprised if it’s the line out of Chinnor. I need to research that one a bit more yet.

I believe it was either '98 or '99.

I've been to the Swanage, the SVR, the Watercress Line, the GCR, and the KWVR so far. While the NYMR is on an aspirational visit list, my next port of call will probably be the ELR or the WSR in the more recent future, hopefully for a summer diesel gala.

Pontypool & Blaenavon - Haven't been to south wales properly yet & wouldn't mind exploring a bit round the ex coalfields areas.

Bristol Harbour Railway - Never travelled on a docks branch yet which I reckon is quite the experience, combined with a visit to ss great britain whilst I'm there.

Keith & Dufftown - Particularly as they've got an early pacer the 140.

Museums etc wise it's:

Buckinghamshire Railway Centre At Quainton Rd.

Swindon Steam Museum
Return Visit To NRM Shildon
The Doncaster Museum

We did this one for the first time last year to get to the Wallingford fireworks. They offer an all day rover for £2, I understand subsidised by Wallingford Council to reduce congestion. It was a well-used service; the train back from Wallingford after the fireworks was packed like a tube train and had to leave some passengers behind. They put on an extra non-timetabled service to cope with the demand.

I can see they are already advertising their 2026 service.
