I agreed with every penalty fare shown in the program with the exception of this one. I completely disagree with it.
Yes, she did not hold a valid ticket for exit/entry at Selly Oak, but I think this is one of those cases where you put people with the wrong attitude in the job, and I personally...
c2c offer this. I believe Southern/GTR are offering this too.
c2c is SEFT's lab-rat testing ground. They've got products such as the flexi-season which has proved popular.
Hi All,
Just asking for some advice in regards to the assessment centre for the customer host role at GWR, based at Paddington. As I have passed the application, online assessments and telephone interview stages, and have been invited to visit the assessment centre today (10th).
Does...
Hi All,
Have an assessment day for dispatch this week, anyone have any advice or info on how it will pan out?
(At least I think it's the dispatch job as I applied for ticket office too, but one of the tests says about Safety so I'm assuming it's the dispatch) and the email only says "Customer...
I've done it at other retailers too in the past for refunds, and the receipt which shows declined, does have refund written on it, and I know the display thing on their computer that shows the amount had a minus before it, so I was positive that a refund was being issued.

One weird thing though, when doing the refund I put the card in the machine and...
Hmm so it's going to be a hit or miss chance of getting it then!
I totally agree, if someone's going to pay £10, it should be refunded within 3-5 working days, MAXIMUM. I don't see why we have to pay for a refund to then wait AT LEAST 4 weeks (in most cases)! It's obsurd, and something should...
Okay thanks all, so does anyone have any past experience with this in regards to whether they will issue an instant refund or pass it to customer services and make me wait up to a month for them to process it?
So the question is, if I buy a ticket for a few days in advance from the conductor to save me time buying at a station, and then change my mind where do I go for the refund?
Obvious one would be the TOC's customer service department but they take a good month or so to get back... Is there a...
