Chiltern service status on their website is (as of 7am) reporting short formations and the odd cancellation this morning due to an incident at the Aylesbury depot trapping a number of trains inside. The cancellation code for one service this morning was "mishap"...
Aylesbury to Princes Risborough is blocked until est. 2nd Feb due to a "structural defect". Just wondering if anyone knew what/where specifically? Thanks

If I recall correctly, there are currently three traditional signal boxes on the Leicester to Burton Line - Bardon Hill, Mantle Lane and Moira West.
I remember reading in a Network Rail document several years ago that these boxes will eventually be closed and control moved to the East Midlands...

On the day after previous strike days, there has been a late start to Aylesbury - Marylebone (via Amersham) services - understandable. This Friday, there is no service during the entire day. Why is this?
