All ECS moves to Hull,by LNER, from Doncaster Carr or occasionally Neville Hill are routed via Goole.
The service train to/from Hull operates via Selby.
Given that the population of Goole is bigger than Selby why dont LNER serve Goole instead of Selby?

There does seem to be too many of these in recent times!
So this morning with 3 cancellations and 3 diagrams being worked by 5 coach sets LNER are operating a 'Good Service'
Presumably there is no definition of a 'Bad Service'
Some KX - Leeds services not calling at Stevenage and Peterborough today because 'more trains than normal requiring maintenance'
How does not stopping improve the situation?
LNER providing a reduced service today due to more trains than normal requiring attention.
Is this poor service from Hitachi as we now seem to have short formed trains every day in order to provide a decent service?
LNER clearly not doing very well with their Azuma and Mk4 fleets.
Today we have a number of trains 'late from the depot' and cancellations due to 'more trains than normal requiring repairs at the same time'
Some services also starting at a point further down the diagram.
Is this Hitachi not...
Please forgive me if this is a daft question.
The morning Harrogate- Kings Cross LNER service picks up large numbers (150+) of commuters at Horsforth travelling to Leeds.
How do LNER get this fare income?
