LNER income from Horsforth

Please forgive me if this is a daft question.
The morning Harrogate- Kings Cross LNER service picks up large numbers (150+) of commuters at Horsforth travelling to Leeds.
How do LNER get this fare income?

Yes. It's determined by a system called 'ORCATS'.
