I travelled on the 1336 from Carlisle to Leeds on 9/1/25. There did not seem to be any adequate heating on the train on a very cold day. Is there usually an issue with the heating on these trains?
Regarding 27 October 2024. The 2205 London to York service is shown as terminating at Doncaster on RTT yet on LNER's own website it shows as terminating at York. Can anyone confirm which one is correct?
I was on this service which suffered a number of delays on the way to York which no other services seemed to suffer. Can anyone shed any light on what the problem was?
Does anyone know where the above departure came in from? There is nothing on RTT.
Does anyone know what caused the delays in the Newark area on the ECML this morning?
I saw this vintage bus in York today outside The Grand Hotel. I think it was heading for the racecourse. Could anyone tell me more about it like who owns it?
The 1518 Leeds to Carlisle has been cancelled. It says on RTT that it is due to a rail defect. Has anyone got any more information on this and will they lay on road transport for stations beyond Skipton?
The 1806 to Carlisle has also been cancelled.
Apparently the Prime Minister was heading north today but his train has been cancelled. Was it the 0903 to Leeds and if so will he catch a later service and will it cause disruption regarding booked seats?
The 1000 Kings Cross to Aberdeen was referred to as the "Swiftie Express" on the Kings Cross departure board due to carrying fans to the Taylor Swift concert in Edinburgh. Was this a publicity stunt for LNER?
I was on a LNER service on the 08 May that ran slow between Biggleswade and Hitchin. This seems to have been the case for all services using the southbound fast from around 1200 to 1500. Does anyone know what was causing the slow running?
A friend of mine travelled on the 0440 York to London on the 06/03/24. The guard who started at York was replaced by a guard at Doncaster. As neither York or Doncaster have crews based there, what is the reasoning behind this planning?
There was an incident at Dalston Jc. with a disabled traveller and am surprised that there has been no mention of it on the forum. Does anyone have any details on it?
