its just been on countryfile about Drax using biomass .The guy from Drax said that they are going to use 7 000 000 tonnes a year. 50% biomass in the next 2 to 3 years and 90% of this will be imported...
I was told last week that there is going to be a new biomass storage shed built at TYNE DOCK and that DB have biomass wagons . I was wondering if they are using these wagons on any routes at the moment ?

I do voluntary work for Mission To Seafarers and every time I look at the loading sidings they are full with trains after 1800 , during the day they are quite quiet apart from the biomass train and the odd coal...
