    VTEC "225" (91 + Mk IV) set in reverse order?

    Noticed a VTEC set heading south yesterday with the 91 at southern end, and again heading north on Sunday afternoon (think it was 1S22 KX - Edinburgh). Not sure of the number, just saw it flash by at a level crossing.

    Reports of a small fire on a unit stationed at Lincoln this morning - http://thelincolnite.co.uk/2014/06/firefighters-put-fire-train-carriage-lincoln/ "train services in and out of Lincoln were not affected" - they wouldn't do on a Sunday morning at Lincoln :wink:

    Grand Central Today at Newark

    Just noticed Grand Central Sunderland - Kings Cross 1A66 crawling into the loop at Carlton (North of Newark) at around 1745. Was just about on time at this stage. Got home to see it had continued reached Newark 12 minutes late and seems to be continuing en route. Nothing seems to have passed...

    In the Retford press this week, proposals and calls to remove the numerous level crossings especially on the ECML close to the town - http://www.retfordtimes.co.uk/Rail-crossings-hangover-past-close/story-20971987-detail/story.html Mostly on very minor roads - can't see expensive bridges...
