Grand Central Today at Newark

Just noticed Grand Central Sunderland - Kings Cross 1A66 crawling into the loop at Carlton (North of Newark) at around 1745. Was just about on time at this stage. Got home to see it had continued reached Newark 12 minutes late and seems to be continuing en route.
Nothing seems to have passed it southbound, and nothing much on the Newark Flat Crossing around this time, so seems a strange one.

Looks like it lost time well before Newark.

Track issues further north. Affected a lot of trains today. Including mine

But still strange to see it pull into the loop at Carlton with little other traffic around - and took 22 minutes rather than 10 between Retford and Newark Flat X-ing.
