    Reform UK discussion

And that’s an issue in itself, of course. Reform are built as a protest party and built their popularity by telling everyone what the governing party were doing wrong, whilst offering only slogans for what they’d do in power. There’s still precious little in terms of policy

Is that the Reform position? (The Restore one is obviously to rewind back a lot further)

Both wrong, although one is close the other is miles out That’s the reason given for the least popular date, so a point for that

The Conservative Party under Kemi Badenoch

Had Starmer been Labour leader in 1997, *if* they'd won the election (I know its a big if, as part of the Labour appeal back then was obviously Blair) he'd probably have been absolutely fine following John Major, just another bloke in a grey suit who was quietly reasonably competent

I never realised it was a requirement to be beaten at your near post to be a goalkeeper for Chelsea ;)

    Reform UK discussion

I only knowingly know two people who say they'd vote Reform. One of them is pragmatic enough to admit its a very tough thing to solve and the withdrawal agreement makes it worse; the other happily says "Nigel will have a plan" and offers nothing else.

Josh Hull - who might be referred to as a "genuine number 11" with a first class average of 8.6 - came in as a nightwatchman for Leicestershire yesterday evening. He's just got out for 97, having batted for over five hours, faced 247 balls, and hit 10 fours and two sixes. Genuinely gutted that...

Four weekly pay - Impacts and origins

Why? You know which month will be the double-income one and that's your income line sorted, the outgoings stay as they are. As others have said, a month with a "bonus" pay day is great, and the 8 years I worked for a company that paid 4 weekly the month with the extra pay day was always July...

Well According to Lee Anderson this morning: - an internal investigation has already started - he can’t say who is leading it because it hasn’t begun yet - Orr and Jules have rightly stepped aside whilst the investigation takes places - Orr and Jules are gone and definitely not coming back...

    Reform UK discussion

I disagree with this bit. The timing gives Reform the opportunity to say it’s politically motivated because it’s been timed to drop the evening before their conference It’s a big enough story to damage them - hopefully a lot - whenever it was published

Companies That You Expect to Disappear Soon

In the last full financial year the high street business made £32m profit on a turnover of £452m. However - like for like turnover was down 2% on the previous year, which suggests cost cutting to maintain the profit line, perhaps in the knowledge that the sale was coming. The problem they have...
