Question: How are Seven Sisters and Edmonton Green stations used by Greater Anglia services?

https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/search/detailed/gb-nr:SVS/2024-03-01/0000-2359?stp=WVSC&show=all&order=wtt&toc=LE It seems to vary between days but typically several late-night services seem to stop at Seven Sisters every night, normally around 3 or 4. None seem to stop at Edmonton Green...

Brighton & Hove / Metrobus Discussion

Also wouldn't be entirely surprised to see a few head to Copthorne in the short-term. All the B7TLs should be getting replaced sometime this year but the ex-London B7TLs are knackered and replacement could still be a few months away, assuming they don't fail like 2 recently withdrawn examples at...

those are all the ones that haven't been delivered yet, presumably going to be re-registered before delivery or entry into service.

First West Yorkshire & York discussion

Were they funded by York City Council? Considering the fate of other (relatively) early hybrids and EVs like the first few batches of B5LHs it's not surprising they're doing poorly.

    Archived bus running times?

That was just an example I used, that's not the route the OP is referring to. Although given the limited frequency of the service the OP refers to it's quite possible it receives council subsidy, which does open up more routes in complaining to the relevant people at the county level. A FOI...

    Archived bus running times?

exactly. There's also the situation of some individual vehicles not tracking occasionally for whatever reason. It's probably doable to look through the data and gain some evidence from it but it isn't 100% accurate.

    Archived bus running times?

You may not be able to prove it for definite, particularly as sometimes the tracking software does go down for a few hours or is more dodgy on certain vehicles. But it can give you a good indication. Also do as the post above says.

    Archived bus running times?

Assuming the bus service you're looking at is run by a company that has real-time tracking for vehicles on you can. https://bustimes.org/services/53-guildford-cranleighewhursthorsham As an example look at this one. Click on the vehicles button on the bottom of the page, then click on the date...

    Archived bus running times?

Actually it's far longer than that, the records go back to January 2023. Depending on the bus company the tracking may be incomplete however, and anyone going through it will need the timetable to hand to compare with as bustimes don't keep the tracking data linked to a service for more than a...

    Best Train spotting stations (updated)

I haven't managed to go spotting there yet but judging by the variety in traffic Basingstoke should be pretty good. The normal SWML traffic combined with XC and GWR services plus a significant amount of freight.

67707 caught fire even earlier, summer 2019 iirc, and was scrapped.

Heavy handed staff presence at Clapham Junction?

Spot on. I do hear regular announcements trying to get passengers to spread out across the platforms but not as regularly as telling people to not go over the yellow line. Don't think I often see platform staff yelling at customers to get behind the line but plenty of announcements are made to...

Heavy handed staff presence at Clapham Junction?

I can believe that, every time i've been to Gatwick Airport recently there are PA announcements just about every time a train is arriving in or about to depart, often for good reason given the crowds, with many not behind the yellow line.

Sounds about right, glad to hear they were able to do this.

    GWR Class 165/166 Turbo Diagrams

Indeed. Looks like it's ended up operating this, 09:30 1R18 Paddington-Reading as a VSTP path? Doesn't have unit allocation on it though. https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:49067/2024-02-18/detailed

Mmm thought as much, not an expert on GWR depot stuff but it would've been odd.

    GWR Class 165/166 Turbo Diagrams

Mmm that makes sense. In RTT it seems to head to North Pole as 5P18 but I'm assuming that'll change as it isn't an IET?

North Downs Full Line Closure 10th Feb to 18th Feb

I've taken this rail replacement service 4 times in the last few months (including twice in the last week) so I might be able to assist here: I'm assuming you're referring to this but in case you aren't the rail replacements depart from the far end bus stop in the South Terminal taxi drop-off...

TfGM Bee Network - fleet discussion

the B5LHs are certainly coming to GNW - I believe ex Oxford. No idea about whether the Scanias are going to Stagecoach though, I heard that too on Facebook but probably from the exact same place as you.
