    First Greater Glasgow

Andy Metcalfe has said on Firstbus enthusiasts Facebook today that 8 are transferring in total, as well as 4 to West of England and 4 to South West (specifically Kernow). Also says one to Eastern Counties but that could well be referring to the now open-top one that's already arrived and been...

Southdown Buses go to become part of go-Ahead

In terms of physical space I'm fairly sure there is room for more vehicles but whether that's reflected in how many vehicles they're allowed by the commissioners I don't know. I have considered before that some Metrobus work could move over to Snow Hill, the 231, 233 and some 270 journeys would...

Southdown Buses go to become part of go-Ahead

It might happen at some point but not anytime soon, there's not much spare capacity at Crawley. Actually last year Metrobus had to put several vehicles in storage with B&H to make room for new vehicles, most have now returned but with the pending arrival of the new Kite HVs things are packed...

First South West (Kernow & Buses of Somerset)

ah I see, the 3 currently on Exmoor (33600+36081/82) combined with the 4 that've been recently converted makes 7 so you could be right. How much is the Falmouth Coaster's PVR? judging by bustimes 32179 was allocated last year and doesn't look to have been withdrawn although time will tell.

Exmoor has 4 E400s coming in itself and I think the 2 existing omnicities are staying too so think it's unlikely.

I have no idea, is the P&R remaining then?

First South West (Kernow & Buses of Somerset)

I believe Andy Metcalfe said that they'd be replaced by 2 Streetlites, can't find it now but he also said that'd be for the resumption of Falmouth P&R which appears to not be happening now?

I think slow application of vinyls has been a problem across most buses in the fleet.

Xelabus Discussion (including Yellow Coaches and Eastleigh/Hampshire operations)

Presumably no point in keeping the website when the company has also expired.

I don't know, he didn't say. He ruled out Essex but that's it.

They're not heading to South Yorkshire, Andy Metcalfe (head of fleet management at First Group) has said so.

Firstgroup Agreement To Acquire Ensign Bus Company

And even they've been trying to sell them off to companies like Aintree whenever possible... Given how new they are they'll probably keep them short-term at least, I'd imagine there's a reason why they didn't sell very well though.

Southdown Buses go to become part of go-Ahead

I know but the reason I'm not necessarily stating that is that they're funded by Surrey County Council, meaning they'll primarily run on routes in Surrey, and quite a few routes in Surrey use Streetlites instead of omnicity deckers although I have no clue whether they can use deckers there or...

Southdown Buses go to become part of go-Ahead

https://www.route-one.net/environment/go-ahead-pursuing-europes-largest-order-for-hydrogen-buses/ And to make things even more complicated 36 Hydrogen-based Wright double deckers are arriving at some point. For fear of speculating I'd imagine these deckers will replace at least some of the...

Southdown Buses go to become part of go-Ahead

Coach & Bus Week put out a tweet about 3 hours ago but no other confirmation online, even on Southdown's social media which are still all quiet.

Southdown Buses go to become part of go-Ahead

The 485 only covers dead runs between the depot and East Grinstead, there used to be other dead run services too (486 and I believe a 487?) but all the dead runs they used to cover for routes like the 410 are now part of the route itself, the 410 for example has 6 dead run services that...
