    Annoying television adverts...

I hate the LNER advert with the Muppet dancing around and walking on the carriage ceilings. Encouraging noisy and antisocial activity. Against the NRCoT, surely?

    Station pubs (part two?)

£8.00 for a fake Spanish beer. You could almost understand if they had to ship it in from Madrid but it's brewed in Tadcaster which is much closer I think.

    West Yorkshire bus franchising

Should have made it a red livery then they would just need to turn all the big M signs upside down.

    Station pubs (part two?)

Yesterday I took the opportunity to visit the Brewdog at Waterloo. £9 for a half of Hazy Guava beer and a half of Made in Berlin Berliner beer (a pint of each would have been £16.50 in total so bit of a markup on the halfs on top of the high initial price). Accommodation suggestions and reviews

With me, it was shutting loads of the attached pubs claiming they were restaurants despite being advertised as pubs and serving people who were not eating.

There's one with talking towels in a hotel room. Make me retch just hearing it.

Is this the Jürgen Klopp one? Can't imagine he'd be bothered about saving £60 on his hotel room tbh.

How are you all coping with the £3 cap?

There were a lot more other things to consider that probably outweighed that for many people. Also, Labour may have said the would raise the cap (I don't recall if they specifically said this or that they would review it) but definitely didn't say they would plump for the immediate 50% increase...

How are you all coping with the £3 cap?

Thee people struggling to afford a 50% increase in bus fares are not likely to be the same people paying £4/5 for a coffee.

Not eligible for delay repay when travelling earlier to avoid a delay?

I didn't say that at all, I was responding to Bletchleyite who said they had effectively rebooked and I quite clearly said they did not rebook and did not have to pay any extra. Not sure why thinking the current compensation arrangements are adequate is seen as so controversial. Time to leave...

Not eligible for delay repay when travelling earlier to avoid a delay?

My view is that everyone should travel for free but that's not going to happen. But then people would still be wanting compensation during disruption.

Not eligible for delay repay when travelling earlier to avoid a delay?

Why not? Like it or not (and cheap or not) Advances are sold as restricted tickets and the compensation available during disruption reflects that.
