    How many tickets???

That ticket stock is used in a variety of Overground and Elizabeth Line machines, but is slowly being phased out in favour of normal RSP CCST stock. It's just a variant of the RSP stock.

Introduction of European Entry-Exit Scheme (EES)

It's not a right under EU law, is what I mean. Whether a member state chooses to provide the same rights is up to them of course.

    How many tickets???

You might have searched for a return from East Croydon to Shoreham, but you were sold split tickets. I mean we can easily see your whole booking is made up of multiple single tickets, and the one right at the top even says Shoreham to Preston Park, and Preston Park isn't Croydon! The way...

    How many tickets???

To me, it looks like you bought a bunch of split tickets from Trainline. So yes, that seems expected.

Introduction of European Entry-Exit Scheme (EES)

Copenhagen has had these camera and fingerprinting "totems" at the booths for a few years now. Never seen one used. Parents had a similar experience last time in Copenhagen, where my mum was laksadaisically waving her Danish passport around in the "All passports" queue before the queue marshal...

Unable to print my advance tickets

When there is a general issue with the system that handles ticket collection, LSM, retailers are emailed about this to inform them. No such reports have been sent out yesterday or today. At Raileasy, we have seen weirdness with some ticket machines before, including where a customer is told by...

Regular Thameslink disruption: what could be done to improve performance and resilience?

Buy some more coaches and slot them in the middle!

Project Oval: TfL win DfT contract to expand contactless system to 233 rail stations by May 2024, Railcards coming to contactless payment cards

Whatever shows on the single fare finder (or Oyster Fares, or ltfares.com) should be what is charged. The fares in the National Rail system are separate and, as far as I know, do not directly impact anything relating to TfL charging.

Minimum connection time queries in relation to Eurostar

You wouldn't be able to do it like that as the TUBE fixed links wouldn't be considered as legs run by TOC "LT". I'm not sure if it's possible to have fixed link times that differ in one direction versus another, in which case you could bake it into fixed links from each London Termini to LNE...

    Leeds to Skipton TOC changed?

Only Advances are affected by this issue, because the trains are not being inserted into the industry reservations system as they are not linked to a passenger operator. Normal single and return fares are still available as they always were (at least on the sites I've tested, including the...

Minimum connection time queries in relation to Eurostar

You should consider London International CIV (LNE) as the arrival/departure point for Eurostar, which will add on additional time to fixed links to account for this. The fares to/from London Eurostar should no longer issued. The MCT at LNE is set at 35 minutes, which is designed to account for...

Luton to London Thameslink - no results found

It's been a long-standing issue on the TrainSplit sites that searches to London Thameslink do not actually work. It's been the case for a number of years. If you search to Farringdon, you'll always get tickets to either London Thameslink, London Underground Zone 1, or Farringdon itself, and the...

    Leeds to Skipton TOC changed?

Passengers have no right to Advance tickets, so a train operator could choose to intentionally withdraw them at any point if they wanted. You don't really have any recourse in this case, other than potentially a goodwill gesture from Northern customer services.

Project Oval: TfL win DfT contract to expand contactless system to 233 rail stations by May 2024, Railcards coming to contactless payment cards

I mean even that has to be wrong, as a journey like Redhill to Reigate is intended to be charged at peak from 1600 to 1900 and that doesn't go from or via a London station! I asked GTR about this error on Twitter. It went about as well as you'd expect:

Project Oval: TfL win DfT contract to expand contactless system to 233 rail stations by May 2024, Railcards coming to contactless payment cards

Surely this was an error rather than intentional. It's absolutely mind-boggling considering the paper/E-Ticket fares do not have afternoon peak towards London.

Zone 4-5 journey costs different amounts at different stations?

Fares are decided by more than just the zones travelled through, but also what lines you use to make the journey. @MikeWh's site explains this really well: https://oysterfares.com/information-pages/fares-guide-tables/ In a nutshell, Wembley Stadium - South Ruislip is charged by the London...

Regular Thameslink disruption: what could be done to improve performance and resilience?

From the other end of the line, it does get rather frustrating as I lose half my Thameslink services when these get cancelled or turned back early. Normally my clockface Thameslink timetable into London would be an almost perfectly-spread :12, :25, :42, :55, and you really notice the increased...
