    What's your latest acquisition?

A very nice FLIRT indeed :)

    What's your latest acquisition?

In fairness, I usually do a lot of the plant growing, seeding, etc, but this year has been one of those years so far. So having a splash of colour is OK. And with luck, I can hide a few bauxite vans in the clematis and honeysuckle.... Probably more tomorrow on that subject... 1778365388 So...

    What's your latest acquisition?

 In fairness, I have my own list of stuff to do that doesn't get done, let alone with her's (but I did get taken on a surprise B&Q plant buying trip at lunch today - I'll not complain too much (and I like gardening), esp given I know what's in the post to arrive tomorrow...)

    Question: Correct Signals ?

Without being able to see much of what is going on off to the right, and assuming you don't need something like a shunt signal or something to control a nearby junction: Platform 1: GWR lower quadrant starter home. Plat 2/3: Either two Lower Quadrant home starters, or two on a bracket like one...

    Beer Gardens Overlooking Railway Lines

I came here to add the Scott Arms in Kingston, overlooking the Swanage railway and Corfe Castle - beautiful views down from the garden there.

    What's your latest acquisition?

Had a small tot up this evening, I have about 40 wagons/NPCCS, and 8 coaches of some sort to work on.... and that's without weathering RTR stock! Erk! At some point I might think about tracklaying, but, TBH, that can come later when kids are a lot more self-sufficient, and I approach...

    What's your latest acquisition?

More like years! (Cricket season now, that's my life shot for the next 4 months or so!). I have got 7 wagons on the go in various states of painted/assembled-ness though...

    What's your latest acquisition?

The to-do pile has grown yet again... With more Bananas.... A bulk lot of six Ratio 541s which were well priced, and I've been looking for them for a while. They will (eventually) compliment the six Dapol 1/246 vans (once I get chassis for them), and I can build up 1/242 vans, with a bit of...

Making a start in O gauge

Nice job @Cowley :) - it just looks much more natural or blended if that's the right word.

    What's your latest acquisition?

I may have snuck in some kits lately off eBay. Parkside PC27 slope sided 16T Mineral, four vintage Airfix 16T (1/108) kits (and a part completed cattle van....). I also saw Dapol were finally offering their unpainted Banana van bodies again for a couple of quid each (so I got 6...) The Bananas...

    What's your latest acquisition?

Bending some 0.5mm brass for the rails most likely - I did similar with a set of Hornby Mk1s I tarted up. I have a Swiss Army knife with small pliers which works well (jigs are available as well).

    What's your latest acquisition?

Well, there's not a huge amount of stripping down as such, but a fair amount of building up (parts, plus some handrails). The bodies are painted, but I might need to strip down the roof welds to something more realistic. The interiors need painting up (wood grain and seat colouring)...

    What's your latest acquisition?

A project that I've wanted to start for a while - so for my birthday, I asked for the first part(s). I have a rake of 5 Replica 64' Mk1 non-corridors to assemble now (2xBS, 2xS, 1xC) - Replica are the only people who have made these (not even Comet have produced an etch), and parts are...

Cancelling seat reservations (Forum ticketing site, with splits)

Ok great - thanks - will bear in mind re selector (I hadn't clocked about the seats until I checked the reservations afterwards. The first two legs are singles, the last is a Family advance, so at least I can free up the ones as for as Castle Cary (I got a through seat reservation via the TPE...

Cancelling seat reservations (Forum ticketing site, with splits)

I have an upcoming journey with my daughter (Reading - Paignton) on a direct train. The forum site has sold us tickets with splits at Newbury and Castle Cary. All good, except the seat reservations are different for each leg of the split (I understand from the FAQ this is part of the process...

Making a start in O gauge

Yep, quite large :D - my dad and I saw Newchapel Junction at ABRail this year - amazing detail, amazing rolling stock - just the size, and dread to think of the cost of a rake of 6 Maunsells!
