    Caledonian Sleeper

People keep rehashing the same old ideas. To be honest, I think the mix of accommodation is pretty good - double beds routinely sell out a long way ahead, club sells well and classic does too. And trains sell out a long way in advance for popular nights which are essentially Thursdays to Sundays...

Severn Valley Railway to trial commuter services

There is no distinction in data terms between the ticket machines or one operator and another. However it’s possible that some ticket machine suppliers may need to make updates at some machines.

    Issues with Worldline TIGER

I don't think it was a Worldline problem. At the time it was reported I checked live departures on quite a few different apps / websites. None of them were working (in general there was a spinning wheel followed by no results). The logical conclusion was that Live Departure Boards (a specific...

    Issues with Worldline TIGER

I think Darwin live departures is broken. Other apps are affected too. 1789071176 Darwin migrated to a new platform a few weeks ago.

Paddington-Reading blocked due to OLE isolation and lineside fire (5/9)

XC to Bristol TM, then GWR to Paddington arrive 01:15. At least, that's what I assume happened.

Introducing RailUK Tickets - support the forum when booking your rail tickets!

I don't think it's quite fair to say that this a GTR problem. Some other journey planners like National Rail (SilverRail), Railsmartr.co.uk and Trainline handle Darwin-only schedules, and show these itineraries. Avanti's doesn't work though (no surprise)

    Question about annual season ticket

Yes. Any itinerary around the triangle Aldershot > Guildford > Woking, including any of the intermediate stations, in any direction, at any time.

    Question about annual season ticket

The National Rail website suggests that an Anytime Day Single (price £7.00, route ".") from Aldershot to Woking is valid via Guildford. So, on that basis you can use this season ticket to travel between any stations between Aldershot, Woking and Guildford. In other words: - Aldershot to Woking...

Severn Valley Railway to trial commuter services

Selling tickets is not the same as operator obligations. Many organisations are selling tickets for this (or would be, if there had not been data issues). WMT. Are the fare setter, of course. But I don’t think that obligated them to provide replacement transport for another operator. It could...
