Yea that seems a reasonable explanation considering how long the recruitment process takes. I highly doubt you would be let go after the initial period due to how much they would have invested in the training etc

The only thing I can think of is if you've applied for the Hand Signaller job in West Ealing then it may be a different application process. I've also got a few applications in and not had the tests sent to me more than once.

From my experience, you normally hear back within a day or two with links to do the tests
