I'd say Guildford Station is quite bad: So I'd say that means Guildford have 1000 people evading a fare per week, that's not a small number for one station. Alternatively, the staff are really clumsy or the figure was rounded up (I have no evidence of either - obviously)

Indeed it has. All three tickets were compensated for at their full value. So my journey consisted of: A station - Paddington Paddington - St. Pancras St. Pancras - Another station The whole value of all three tickets (despite 2/3 being returns) was paid as compensation.
