I just wanted to know has York station changed in the last 10 years since I last went at all, because I’m going for an event it’s the uk championship snooker.
I was involved in an incident at SDR at Buckfastleigh Station today.
Two men on the station were having an argument; a man wearing a green shirt threatened a man wearing a black shirt after I think something was said to one of the green shirt's kids. He said he'd see him outside, called him a...
Has anyone worked on the Railway or travelled on the railway in Germany if they have what is it like because I might just be interested will I have to be able to speak German because I can’t speak any German do the train staff speak good English.
I was meant to be travelling to Ponferrada Spain to see a friend of mine this year that I went to college with 3 years ago because of Covid I couldn’t go I’m hoping that I can go at some point but I don’t like flying that much so I’m going by coach.

I’m not sure if this is true or not but it would be a good idea if it did happen
I got my English Level 2 certificate recently I do feel incredibly proud of it and myself it’s something positive that has come out of 2020 for me and getting the certificate makes it official.
How many of the exams are theoretical and how many are practical on the mainline.
i think that’s what would stop me from getting a job because I’m better at one than the other I know it sounds silly but that’s me I’m afraid I’m better at the theoretical side than the practical side I do think...
Has anyone had a coronavirus test what does it consist of and how far did you have to go to do it.
I’ve heard stories about people having to travel to the other end of the country to do the test, I’m a bit worried about my education being disrupted and then having to go and get a test, I don’t...
What sort of maths skills do train companies want I’m working towards level 2 functional skills maths do I need to be able to long multiplication long division multiply add and subtract fractions I can do a few of these things already.
I may work on a heritage railway but I’m not a trainspotter, far from it. I’m just on there to get a bit of experience while I’m at college, and one of my hobbies is that I tend to be a bit of a quizzer.
I know that most of the time I lose but it’s the taking part that counts.
What’s the pass percentage for Pts some of us got to renew our Pts on the SDR me included one of my colleagues attempted the test yesterday he only got 70% so (failed) I feel for him hopefully he’ll get a chance to resit I know what’s it’s like to fail an exam I’m not the best at exams myself I...

Do train companies pay much attention to a cv because I do feel at a bit of a disadvantage with it,I’ve been going to college and evening school for a number of years to build it up, and I’ve also been working on a steam railway as well.
Has anyone had customer praise while doing their job on the railway I seem to get it all the time on the steam train for my attitude I think getting praise is nice it means you’re doing something right
I was just wondering have Railway staff failed drugs tests from smoking normal cigarettes or Vaping.
I’ve just quit cigarettes and started Vaping to help me give up smoking I was just wondering what would be the chances of me failing a drugs test if I went for a job on the mainline
