I used North and Mid Wales pass last year and finding info was impossible, official pages listed bus companies that had ceased trading 2 years earlier! As it happens the pass was accepted on every bus I used, even two that I didn't think it was valid on, quite why there is no up to date info...
if I might add, I have to use 2 annual leave days to be off xmas and boxing day because I'm rostered to work monday and tuesday this week but as my toc doesn't run trains I cannot come in tho will be in early shift New Year's day, yippee
you mention "Greggs" sorry but this a far superior mixed meat, from various several animals in a puff pastry that is so superior, oh wait you still not gonna get it, so it doesnt matter

#VTECUpdate Due to forecast bad weather avoid travel tomorrow (23 Feb) if possible. Booked tix valid for trains tonight until 12.00 Friday.
last three KX -Ncle via coast as possession given up at 2200 for repairs at East Cowton, last XC 1E64 running York to Eaglescliffe then reverse to Darlo, also last Edin - York via coast with buses covering the missed stops.
Elderly gent stepped out in front of 1S33 at the South end of Croft viaduct, line closed 1000 til 1145 with trains turning round at Darlington and York. First few trains southbound from Darlington unable to pick up stranded passengers as already full so backlog not cleared til aprox 1330.
indeed Bishop Auckland used to have 4 platforms (3 for passgrs 1 parcels/freight) but now only one or two if you include Bishop West for the Weardale railway.
with the cultural, geographical and (ok cannot think of a third) benefits of the north you really want a chip to show your supremacy over the south? ...
to me whoever is the dominant/majority holder they will always go with the bearded wonder's branding because for some reason the great british public fall for what he says, the last time I took any notice of him was when he owned just 2 record shops (and I doubt he actually owned them) - yes...
but not helped by the company sending out invites to "party with the stars" etc when I had presumed we were all colleagues, there again I haven't found the need to get an agent either!
but freight trains always come to a halt on 2 track sections never 4 so a thunderbird for every 2 track section would be somewhat expensive, indeed mebbe cheaper to 4 track everywhere - and I still believe in Santa Claus
yup that was the cause lost all power had to wait for thunderbird which obviously got caught up in queue waiting for slw - twas great fun (unless you wanted to actually travel anywhere)
