    PRIV Oyster

When I enquired at Stratford, Brentwood and Harold Wood a couple of months ago the staff said they couldn't add priv to Oyster and I should ask at a tube station instead (which we know isn't permitted). At Romford the staff told me the reason they couldn't do it was due to a lack of union...

Unable to get renew Priv loaded onto Oyster.

Based on last year and this year's experience I'd try asking at a tube station which doesn't have NR interchange. I've been declined both years at Kings Cross St Pancras and Euston LU as staff say they are not permitted to perform the function, but at smaller stations the staff have been happy...

Obtaining PRIV ticket when ticket office is closed in Penalty Fare area

At King's Cross I've purchased a full price ticket from a TVM due to long queues at the ticket office, then later sent the ticket to LNER with a letter explaining the queues far exceeded their customer charter - a refund for the overpayment was issued.
