It has been built over at the southern end plus the Bowling viaduct collapsed in 1995 so it is an impossibility. The northern end is still used occasionally for scrap yard traffic or was until recently.
I wouldn't call the ZF gearboxes new fangled. They are essentially a mechanical automatic bus gear, closer skin to the first gens than the hydraulic transmissions favoured in recent years. I think the gear changes give character to what are other wise bland boxes of plastic

Wellington street station platforms once covered the entire area up to the river now taken by car parking and the multi storey up until the 60s when it became a parcels depot and the former platform 1/2 became lorry loading space and later the car park.

As an aside, Halifax bus station was built in 1989 replacing the station at Crossfields and the first 'modern' metro bus station was in fact Dewsbury in 1993/4.
No, not quite, Metro was the brand name for WYPTE and is now the brand for WYCA.
The sub brands were MetroTrain for the WYPTE subsidised services and MetroBus. There were some River Bus canal services too and WYPTE bus stops could be found along a couple of local canals as Barge stops...
