    Caledonian Sleeper

Any word if 37403 is getting a 2nd spell on the Aberdeen beds after a wee rest or have the 73s settled down (sufficiently)

    Caledonian Sleeper

I'd imagine IF they can get the 73s collectively availability back to where it needs to be (Where DOES it need to be anyway actually) then having the 37 semi local @ Bo'ness and available for scramble might be the preferred route. It does seem to have performed faultlessly though? - credit to...

    Caledonian Sleeper

Any word on the Status of the broken (or not) 73s and how long GBRF might keep 37403 on hire? (if that's the correct phrasing?)

    Ashville new siding

Dan makes some reference to the 153 in today's weekly - Unit still being held pending movement to the yard but planning hoops to jump through etc etc - Good of him to see a few people had been asking in the comments :)

    Ashville new siding

I had no idea at all that his old and new yards were so close to each other - You will have heard a penny drop as a result! :)

    Ashville new siding

Was just looking at their site on Googly Maps, the aerial of which still shows that I believe is the old yard alignment. Just noticed it looks like there is a shorter railhead just beyond Dan's gates - Wasn't sure if this was in use or?.....

Class 153s - further use, preservation and scrap

Given Ashville Aggregates unfortunate financial situation as of late, is it likely they will still do something with 153334 in terms of converting it to office accoms which i think was the original plan?

    Class 314 preservation

Picture from August (through fence) - Last I drove past (pre-xmas) I believe it was still in situ. Whether it's getting a move about pre-diesel gala (kicking off tomorrow) unsure but ill maybe pop past later.

    DVT 82113 (19001) Future

The always enjoyable YouTube videos from BONESS27001 shows comment that ex -DVT 82113 (19001) which had something of a power unit put into it has been 'abandoned' by its current owner LenzLabs @ Bo'ness Seems a bit of a waste - Was surreal viewing seeing it travelling along under 'its own...

    Locomotive Services Fleet (LSL) updates

This seems a massively sensible partnership - possibly deflecting SRPS from some of the 'up front' cost of the carriage upgrades? Favours and support in both directions on a simple read?

    Caledonian Sleeper

Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, or indeed if its claptrap but is 37403's holiday to Craigentinny somehow sleeper cover related? Sure I read a suggestion to that end? Again sorry if this is piffle!

    Southern Class 313 withdrawal/storage/scrapping updates

Still parked in the down slip road onto the QueensFerry Crossing as of tonight, probably due to the RTA on the bridge circa 1800 that backed everyone up - or scheduled who knows. Same FB group mentions "new home at the fife heritage railway", so presume bound for Kirkland Yard Leven

    The future of 91131

Sounds a fascinating challenge BigB. Must admit when my other interests stop (ex-work) I'd love to volunteer - if I'm still on the 'toonie' by then. Can thank my Grandad for early 80's trips to Bridge of Dun by Brechin for the interest i think! For general viewings 91131 out enjoying the sun...
