Yeah those ones :3, the ones used on the fife circle line. as said, would be a shame if they couldnt also use them for other routes too (or they go after they are replaced with like a 6 car 170)
i just wondered, Looking at TPE's new 68 and MK5 stock or Chilterns 68+MK3+DVT, would those make...
Hey sorry if it's also dumb to ask or that, But i kinda felt like it'd be a missed oppurtinity for scotrail 68's to just be used on the fife circle line? (eventually them getting replaced by 170's or that)
I wondered, would it be a good idea for scotrail maybe to accompany their HST stock, with...
sorry if off topic but,
Would it make sense cause avanti look to have a greenish blue, and the voyagers kind of have a goblin face on them, i could call the new avanti voyagers green goblins? :D
that'd be pretty cool
where will the 10 extra 385's go? will they be propping up extra services? or for new lines?
also i was on a 385 and i had the announcements going off :'D handy for a paranoid lass who's wondering if they got on the wrong train at a late night edinburgh.
i sat on the floor on a packed saturday night train and tbh it was like... epic, so the floor sitting experience is awesome :D
though the 170 is great for floor sitting, hard to beat

oh yeah :D, I usually like to stay in one of the unpowered coaches if its on a 4 or 8 car unit, the electric motor noise is pretty loud, but spose if you feel energetic its kinda groovy!
then again my favorite seats are the ones at ethier end of the coaches near the first class where you get...
Heya just a noob question
so you can see some diesel cars with lets say about 800 lbft of torque for like a high end pick up. maybe for towing a caravan.
I see trains have like tractive effort and that but lets say i put a train on a perfectly straight bit of road , how much pounds feet of...
Tbh the ride from Glasgow At least to Grahamston is actually pretty nice, very scenic.
i actually took the Queen street to falkirk grahamston train if i just wanted to relax, and sit back rather than be on the E-G Via falkirk high trains
I'm one of the people affected by no direct connection from polmont to larbert :< , handing first bus falkirk some extra business
and boy if we didn't wanna depend on first bus falkirk any more...
Any small bus company fancying some business? Cover that hole created :)
or we just gotta...
I imagine as Glasgow - Edinburgh via cumbernauld isnt as high priority as Glasgow - Edinburgh via falkirk high, it may be 365's that are shoved out by new 385's maybe with a 385 or two
