My life long dream for the Class 180s would be an exclusive shuttle between Nailsea and Yatton.. just so I can get there an extra 10 seconds faster. Of course they would need 1st Class, a buffet car and perhaps a 1st Class lounge at Yatton.

There was a trolley refreshment service on the trains between Reading and LGW at least until 2008.. not sure how productive they were but that is a totally different topic. :wink:

Oh yes.. like that at Severn Tunnel Junction. Sounds awful, especially the pronunciation of Westbury as "West-burry".

People will never be happy.. its just all opinion at the end of the day. I do agree the lighting is a little bright, particularly at night.

I find the toilets on HSTs are usually alright.. I don't personally make a habit of using train toilets however.

You probably need to find out (if possible) when and where the tickets were officially collected. It's possible the tickets may have come out after you had gone. Sounds silly, but it happens. I would probably want to go down to Stoke on Trent station to see if the tickets have been handed...
