I've just looked through NRE at some fares for next tuesday, travelling off peak.
3 Adult returns, one of which has a 16-25 railcard. Routed plus high speed with travelcards.
I was quoted by NRE £64.20 but on attempting to purchase and being put through to SET I can't find this...
I do mark numbers down on occassions but not with the intention to tick them off or anything, or to visit and travel on every particular unit. I consider myself an enthusiast, I am interested in trains, stations, staff, ticketing, history, track, signals ect.
I sent an email to SET showing my displeasure at how the barriers at Hastings station were being left open and unmanned at long periods of time.
I got the following reply:
Oh, and for the record, I love ticket barriers which in my opinion form part of a 3 piece plan for revenue protection...
