I always do this on VTEC East Coast Services (not the HSTs obvs) as the doors then open immediately on release.
I fact it annoys me when people don't as I have a strange obsession about my foot being the first to hit the platform.

National rail says ECML delays due to broken down train.

The last bus was about the same time - the last time I took a cab it was over £12.
Now I live near Denby Dale the closest I can get to home by train unless I leave Leeds at 21:41 is Wakey or Hudds - so train and cab now :cry::cry:
On the other hand we have great views from the garden!
In general the more affluent areas to the North of Leeds are better served.
The last train to Woodlesford is at 22:37 - though a new train at 22:05 seems to have appeared (unless I am mistaken) since I moved away. Compare with Ilkley 23:15, Skipton 23:19 and Harrogate 23:32.
