That would tally with a course starting in January and possibly ending in March?
Or could that mean a third intake starting in March? That would be cool for those still "in the loop".
I am wondering as they are results, is it possible to check this national database they have to see if you have been successful or not? You know the "two strikes and you are out" rule?
Okay you won't find out if you have an DMI or not but if you say failed the MMI, is it possible for public...
When at my Stage 2 there was a guy claiming he knew someone who worked for both Intermodal and one at Heavy Haul. He seemed convinced there was a course starting about October 20th? Yeah, yeah I know "friend who work for them" ;)
He was going for Intermodal, maybe they have different courses...
Sorry to hear that Sammy. Try to get some feedback and definitely have another crack when the timer is up.
Sure you will get through next time if you can suss out what was up this time!
My advice would be that if you have your heart set on becoming a train driver then just go for it.
Bear in mind the "2 lives" rule for the assessments though. The best way to pass in my opinion is to massively prepare by researching and getting whatever practice material you can get from...
I may have some advice that may be beneficial to you jimph1 but you need to make 5 posts before you can either message someone or someone can message you ;)
Who do you have the tests with?
Sorry to hear that debadzuk79, they did state before that it seems to be GBT that catches the most out of the paper tests. You do get another shot at it so all is not lost yet!
Chin up and get some GBT papers printed off and get some practice in before December, best of luck.
Congratulations all and best of luck with your interviews. Fingers crossed I can be in the same position in a few weeks when I have my stage 2.
The turnaround does seem to be fast for the interviews, especially as some seem to have their stage 2 well into August. Are we to assume there may be...
Well only you can answer that question. It can be disheartening if you get knock backs, especially the amount you seem to have had. What job was it for exactly?
Ultimately you need to look at the fact you are fundamentally going wrong somewhere. I am assuming you have asked for some form of...
Good luck to all who made it to interview stage.
Does anyone know how often Scotrail takes on trainees? Is it very rare like once a year, or have there been multiple intakes recently?
If the assessments are in September, here is hoping we hear something back during August then!
Someone mentioned the training might be starting in January 2015. Are there any further dates expected or is this intake going to last them for the whole of 2015?
I am in for Stage 2 at the end of July. There seems to be quite a few dates available and at 6-8 per session, it seems there are still quite a few left in. So a good percentage must have passed Stage 1.
To any who sat their Stage 2 already (including ML), what is the layout of the day...
Hello new to the forums myself \o been reading a while though!
I applied and received my letter and email yesterday Tuesday 03/06/14 as an above poster mentioned. I am sure many will hear probably today or in the following days. Best of luck to everyone who applied!
