In the lists of diverted services, at the bottom of the page, it mentions the Cumbernauld - Dalmuir services being altered, it says that "this means that peak time specials will not operate". What are the peak time specials? Can anyone help me out?
I was on a pendolino fairly recently and I was seated in a bay with two seats, on the inside, there was a plug socket with a laptop symbol sticker next to it, is this a fairly recent addition?
Hi All,
I've booked a mobile ticket on the trainline and although the website faqs claim "you can even activate your ticket without mobile signal". Do you require WiFi or data to activate a mobile ticket?
Some help would be much appreciated...
I believe that the Class 303 which worked in Manchester before returning to Glasgow and being restored to original condition - 048 I think, has made it to London, I remember specifically reading about it going on a tour shortly after its overhaul. So that puts Blue Trains out! :D
Hi all,
Just read from the scot-rail forum that someone heard from WNXX that there is 7 Class 321 units to be cascaded north in December 2015. Im guessing for North Berwick or Dunbar runs or maybe even being downgraded to 320 spec. Does anyone know anything about this?
Newton (Lanarkshire) at night maybe? Within 1 minute of getting off a terminating Class 314 Police Sirens disturbed the evenings' quiet. the sirens continued until I caught my connection to equally shady Holytown (Don't judge a station by it's name - There is Nothing Holy about Holytown)
Can anyone tell me what kind of Tube Stock is currently stabled in the Holborn Branch? Or how often it is used? I'm just curious of this uniquely rare example.
