.i would just like to know how a t.o.c goes about refrencing people if offered a position ,do they ask months before or is it after you have been giving a postion.
Also what type of references do they ask for ? Is it from someone like your doctor etc or just the normal ex boss type of thing ...

I was led to believe that recruitment will open up again in October but will be for positions on the west side.. Don't get dishearted mate as you done all the hard work in the tests so next time it's just the DM interview you will have to do and you know where to improve.

Yeah let's hope so as the medical im finding really daunting as unlike the rest of the stages you can't really practise or prepare for it and not knowing what to expect is brutal. Did they give you any info on when your likely to be starting as I was told next year now if successful

I'm hoping to get ilford as that's what I thought was advertised way back when I saw it . I got medical on 3rd September and been asked to take in my new starter forms afterwards.its just the wait that's the killer.
I bought there vigilance dvd aswell as the perception dvd and have successfully passed all assessments! I do believe that this practise material did give me some sort of idea of what to expect .
