Hi All.

I would just like to know if anybody else has a medical coming up for MTR and if so has also be given new starter forms to fill out and take into headquarters . I wasn't sure if this was the norm as didnt think you would get the forms etc until you have passed medical and the refrenecing etc.
Any info would be great fully received .

Hi leebob34
I'm in the same boat, have my medical in October and they also sent me forms.

I'm guessing 90% of people pass the medical which is why they ask for the forms so they can get cracking with the process

Yeah let's hope so as the medical im finding really daunting as unlike the rest of the stages you can't really practise or prepare for it and not knowing what to expect is brutal. Did they give you any info on when your likely to be starting as I was told next year now if successful

Yea they told me February. In regards to the medical, I think there's an eye test, (bring glasses if you wear them), hearing test, colour blind test, and possible BMI, blood pressure, drug and alcohol tests.

It would be a shame to fail at the last hurdle but unless you're concerned about one of the tests mentioned above I'll think you'll be fine mate
