What are your views on the manifestos (transport) for the General Election?

I'm not too sure that complete renationalisation of every line is a good idea. I remember when i went to school in the 1990's and the weekly journey from Banbury to Marylebone was single track (for most of it) hourly service hardly used. Marylebone was almost unused Look at it today it's busy...

Will Heathrow expansion mean more trains and lines?

I think Heathrow's big problem is the lines only turn towards Central London in Hayes if you have also a westerly turn then you generally open up Heathrow as an airport nationally accessable. The expanded Heathrow doesn't mean more real because trains can only travel along an already busy...
