Which is your favourite railway line in the UK and why?

Indeed and the steam train on the line adds a bit of magic as well. Kyle of Lochalsh line is pretty special as well. My favourite is the line from Exeter down to Exmouth reminds me of summer holidays as a kid loved how it followed the river down. Lovely line scenery beautiful.

I'm not fond of the ride from King's Cross out to Stevenage not a fan of the tunnels especially on the slow side they get the ears popping really badly.

SWR Guard and a customer with Aspergers

Yes i would never use social media to talk negatively about passengers specific case. However we do need information if someone bends the rules for a passenger it's not always the fault of the guards don't know, they get people blagging all the time, everyone trying to blag has a reason not to...

    Landslip in the Linlithgow area

ScotRail saying the line will remain closed tonight and no services between Glasgow Queen Street and Edinburgh Waverley. They suggest people use the low level station for services to Edinburgh or Glasgow Central to Edinburgh but both are very much longer than going via Falkirk.

Why do Sunday services start so late?

I love working Sunday mornings I work at a west London Station and it's such a pleasure to work Sunday morning so quiet and not the stress of a weekday morning. The reason why there's just not enough people who want to travel to run trains every 15 minutes they would be empty and it would be a...

Trivia: Track with three traction types (DC, AC, Diesel)?

I'll put Acton Central out there been 20 odd years since I've been down that way, it used to be the place where the trains transferred from third rail to overhead so it has both in the station and they used to run freight down to South Acton then the line split Overground goes one way frieght...

    Wrongly Assumed Facts by Passengers

Not realising that 4 car trains don't go to the end of the platform and end up running back about 50 yards then it dawns that it won't be going that far.

What should happen in the next CrossCountry Franchise

I remember the old Sussex Scot Service that went Glasgow Central to Brighton. I'd like to see that service re introduced so many services to Bournemouth, I think one a day down to Kensington Olympia, East Croydon, Gatwick Airport, Haywards Heath and Brighton would be nice to see.

Southall bi-lingual signs post Elizabeth line

I don't think that TFL will have bi lingual roundels. I can't off the top of my head (someone on here will know I'm sure) of a station that has a roundel with two words above and below each other. Normally the two words are side by side. Hopefully they might at least keep one that has the old...
