    TOCs' Complaints Responses

I have been waiting 5 weeks now for "delay repay" from GWR, which was send in the post. After a week I emails customer service, who said wait 10 - 15 days. If "customer service" had a automatic response on emails to say that "email received, expect xxxx days delay" at least you would know...

    Rail Replacement Bus Services

There was a member of staff "dispatching" buses from Faversham and, as you say could have rung Sittingbourne to tell them of departures. The bus left Faversham at the booked time as shown on SET timetables. At Sittingbourne, the 4 members of staff were waiting "inside the barriers".. Well it...

    Rail Replacement Bus Services

Does anyone know if "connecting trains" are supposed to wait for the "connecting bus" when Engineering works are in operation? Yesterday the "connecting train" at Sittingbourne to St Pancas pulled out of the station as the "connecting bus" from Faversham pulled into the car park. When asking...

    Eurostar FIP

The fares shown on RDG web-site are the correct ones and they are the fares charged when booking at Eurostar Counter or through Rail Canterbury (plus 10% fee min £10). Depending on what ticketing system IR, TE, or FR use, and i believe that it is the DB system, then the fares are charged in...

PROGRAMME ALERT - Railways: The Making Of A Nation.

How I read the information given in the radio Times (other publications are available!!!) is that the "regional programme" being shown tonight is as per our own region. The programme tomorrow night at 8pm is the "other" programme. So we (in the South-East) get the SE one tonight and the SW...

    Don't you just love em??

I saw this member of staff again today. Surprisingly he travelled throughout France & Spain by just showing his "reservations". Apparantly he did not even have a FIP card, so one wonders how he managed to get a FIP reduction on Eurostar.

No more DB for staff travel ?

International Rail are based in Ropley, but the postal address is Ropley, Alresford, Hampshire. --- old post above --- --- new post below --- DB do still have an office in Surbiton, but they do not issue tickets.

    Zillertal Bahn

Actually, OBB took 1 amount of money from you (incorrectly) and the Zillertal took 1 amount from you. Your claim for an incorrect charge should be against OBB, not Zillertal, which could be why they have not responded.

    Zillertal Bahn

Yes, Mayrhofen is in the TCV fare book and tickets can be issued to/from any main station. --- old post above --- --- new post below --- Zillertal Bahn are not part of the FIP agreement, so FIP cards are not valid

No more DB for staff travel ?

But we would like to know what your booking fees are, so that we do not waste your time in asking for quotes if your booking fees are higher that the companies recommended by ATOC.

No more DB for staff travel ?

Hi, Do you actually issue the FIP tickets, both Eurostar and other tickets, yourself or do you get them from other agents? Thanks Blinder

    Eurostar/SNCF connection fares

Eurostar do not hold any quotas back, it is 1st come, 1st served. The dilemma is book the cheape E* when they are on sale or wait... You could always book through an agent, that can "hold" the Eurostar cheaper quota and then add the connecting leg when they are loaded."
