We now have a wait in Diss to have a look around, even though there is not much to do before heading on the 11:32 service run by Simonds 304 to Bury St Edmunds, arriving there at 12:31 on Friday
Oh; I’ve never actually noticed on the train when they change also do you know from Gravesend where the train branches off to go to Ebbsfleet and the normal train continues to Dartford and London?
First time poster so sorry if this has been covered before, as I live in Chatham we get both the HS1 and the Southeastern services to Charing Cross and Victoria, now on the HS1 where do they change from overheads to 3rd rail?

(Note: fares question moved to: High Speed fares)
As someone was telling me on the train the other day, that from Gravesend to Faversham that it only counts as a “local” train, like the stopper services, with regular fares not a premium?
Hope someone can help?

We now have nearly a hour wait at Ipswich so we leave the station to go admire the football stadium, before heading back to board the 22:28 Greater Anglia Service, to Felixstowe that arrives at 22:57 that evening :)
I hope Virgin, pick up the act and retain the franchise always a nice train company to travel on especially the time's they have made from London to Glasgow
I think that the boundary should travel a bit further out into Kent, as at the moment Dartford isn't even zone 6, yet when ive traveled through the station ive noticed people with freedom pass's using the station to get through
