Southeastern's "Olympic" timetable

Its all bi-directional with plenty of cross-overs. A couple of times when there's been a power problem or a failed train, I've been through the 'wrong' tunnel heading from Stratford Intl to St Pancras.

Unfortunately I think any complaints about the Olympic timetables are likely to fall on deaf ears at SouthEastern- the "Javelin" service was always about getting as many people on the 7 minute run between the Olympic park and St Pancras....sod the rest of us just trying to get around.

OP- I know its not ideal, but if its possible, what about driving to Ebbsfleet? Probably be home within the hour and heading the opposite way to the crowds.

I thought you were supposed to be able to alter your tickets? I booked mine last night and chose Non HS1 for the return trip because I was going to come back via central London. Now I've found a way of getting back via Ebbsfleet and Greenhithe and I wanted to change my ticket to a +HS1 one so I could get to Ebbsfleet, but it won't let me make any changes.

I completely agree with you living in North Kent, If i want to get into Central London fro where i live the last train is at 22:24 which is ridiculous

If you live in Chatham, there is a train to Victoria at about 23.40.....

What about paying the high speed tax, sorry "upgrade".

The difference in price of the tickets is about 40p, the High Speed upgrade is £2 something. I missed the train I was going to get anyway.
